Away from Violence South Africa is a collaboration between Public Achievement in Northern Ireland, and our partner, Bush Radio, in Cape Town, South Africa with the support of Lloyds TSB. Bush Radio is the 'Mother of Community Radio in Africa' (and much of the rest of the world!), and has been an active partner of Public Achievement since 2004. Volunteer coaches from Bush Radio and a range of partner organisations are working with groups of young people in the Western Cape Province on issues of violence in their communities.
